HOW TO CHOOSE VAPING ELIQUIDS
There is no definite answer to the question “what eliquid should I choose?” – there are too many variables in it. Today we will go through the main points that will allow you to make the right choice yourself.
All you need to know when choosing
Liquid – the main consumable, fuel for the evaporator. In English-speaking countries, vaping liquid is called “e-liquid”, the word “juice” is also found on forums. Russian-speaking vapers prefer the word “liquid” or simply “slurry.” In this article we will talk about how to choose a liquid to your liking.
What are fluids made of?
The composition of the liquid is nothing sophisticated – just glycerin (VG), propylene glycol (PG), flavors, and nicotine, if desired. Different liquids have different PG / VG ratios. Also, some manufacturers are proud to use natural flavors; it is expensive and rapidly clogs your winding. The palatability of liquids varies from mono-flavors to complex compositions that have different tastes on inspiration and expiration, as well as leaving a unique aftertaste.
If you have not smoked, then you need a nicotine-free liquid. For those who are in the process of quitting cigarettes, there are a number of liquids with different nicotine contents: from 1 mg / ml to 24 mg / ml. It is better to choose a fortress based on the type of evaporator and the usual power. For simple “electronic cigarettes” it is better to take strong liquids (6-12 mg): these devices produce little vapor, so to get the right dose of nicotine, you must either choose a stronger liquid, or soak for a long time and persistently. For more powerful atomizers, 1-3 mg of nicotine is enough. Trothit depends on the fortress – a blow to the throat, which is familiar to smokers. On powerful devices, trochitis from nicotine fluid is felt more strongly. Trothitis is also enhanced by some flavorings and one of the components of the base is propylene glycol.
More steam or more taste?
In liquids, the VG / PG ratio varies for different configurations. For those who are accustomed to smoking cigarettes and using amateur devices (eGo, simple single-spiral tanks), 50VG / 50PG for a brighter taste and 60VG / 40PG for greater cloud cover are suitable. If you want to disappear in a cloud of steam – take 70VG / 30PG or more, but in this case there will be a little less taste, and it will open better on powerful double-spiral tanks and drips.
Liquids of dubious origin are a significant problem. Woe-producers who want to be well-earned on ignorant consumers, purchase the lowest-quality ingredients and prepare mixtures in unsuitable conditions, which may adversely affect our health. Adhere to respectable brands or knead the liquid yourself – but this will be discussed in the next article.
Recommendations for use
As with many products, fluids should be shaken from time to time. So you will achieve the uniformity of the ingredients in the liquid, and hence the best taste. Some liquids (especially nicotines) can have a dark shade, some darken with time. As a rule, this is due to the composition of flavorings. Vata and spirals from such liquids become more contaminated faster, so they will have to be changed more often. Store your precious liquids in dark, cool and dry places to prevent the oxidation of nicotine and a weakening taste. Strong temperature extremes should be avoided, and put in a refrigerator for long-term storage. And, of course, keep track of the date of manufacture and expiration date.
If you quit smoking using vaping, with the right fluid strength you can do it without problems. Determine your dosage and gradually reduce it. If you do not smoke, then for you everything is very simple – choose zero. Remember: VG is more steam, PG is more taste. Avoid homemade liquids from dubious dealers. Store liquid as aspirin in the dark and cool. Shake well before use. And do not be afraid – the information in this article is enough to make your sensible choice.
